The entrance to the railway tunnel is guarded by the most modern technologies

It opened in 2007 as the longest railway tunnel in the Czech Republic. Although in the meantime the primacy fell to the Ejpovice tunnel, this one still remains the longest among single-track tunnels. Security also helped, but it became obsolete with the rapid development of technology. After the modernization, the tunnel is preferably the top Accur8vison system, based on accurate motion detection with LiDAR technology and camera surveillance. Experience with its operation in the Chomutov region will serve to secure much longer tunnels and future high-speed lines. The next part of the Z (S) rights of railways will also be presented in the tactical exercises that firefighters completed in this tunnel.
